Accounting Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

The Accounting Analyst will be the first line of contact for payroll processing delivered in the company business service center to ensure a high quality and smooth flow of payroll processes. In this role, you will partner closely with the operations team to ensure the accuracy of data for essential payroll variables such as salary, bank account, address and new employee and termination data.

 

 

Responsibilities

• Timecard, accruals, and absence corrections and queries.
• payroll provider in the standard agreed format.
• Ensure payroll variable elements are aligned with the company internal policies.
• Communicate with the selected payroll provider for payroll processing.
• Coordinate submission of required reports and run post payroll reports for third party companies.
• Handle basic issues and problems under supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

• Other duties as assigned. Participate in annual audit.

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
• Advanced Excel
• Experience of around 3 years in similar positions.

 

Preferred

• Previous experience in a human resources, finance or administration role
• Professional technician or Advanced students in related careers (Accounting, finance, HR)
• Knowledge of payroll processing best practices
• Exposure to human resources tools and payroll applications
• Intermediate English
• Knowledge in ADP tools
