Credit and Collection Supervisor

We are looking for a Credit and Collection Supervisor who has strong understanding of lending principles, credit risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. Previous experience in credit and collections from personal loans or unsecured finance required. The Credit and Collection Supervisor will manage a team of credit and collection representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

What you will be doing
•Managing a team of credit and collection representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
•Monitoring and managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments.
•Evaluating and assessing creditworthiness of customers, including conducting credit checks and analyzing financial statements.
•Negotiating payment terms and arrangements with customers.
•Handling customer disputes and resolving billing issues.
•Maintaining accurate records of all credit and collection activities.
•Analyzing and reporting on credit and collection metrics and trends.
•Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and finance, to ensure effective credit and collection processes.
•Collaborate with the manager in developing and implementing credit and collection policies and procedures.

Qualifications
•A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
•Strong understanding of lending principles, credit risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
•Previous experience in credit and collections from personal loans or unsecured finance, preferably in a supervisory role.
•Thoroughness and accuracy in evaluating credit applications, analyzing financial statements, and maintaining records.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and other departments.
•Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team, provide guidance and training, and manage performance.
•Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
•Ability to build positive relationships with customers, handle difficult conversations, and negotiate payment terms.
•Proficiency in MS Office and experience with credit and collection software.
